Rules
1)Festival and Meetings around the Creative Slideshow in Lempdes (Puy de Dôme) is a Creative Slideshow competition organized by Le Site du DCcn and Club Objectif Image 63.
Objectives:
* Promote the Art of Creative Slideshow by reaching a wider audience.
* Encourage meetings and exchanges between slideshow creators in person.

2) Jury
Gérard Diebold, slideshow creator (Club Objectif Image 63)
Laure Gigou, slideshow creator (Le Site du DCcn)
Maurice Guidicelli, slideshow creator (Le Site du DCcn)
Monique Rodenburg, teacher and photographer (Club Objectif Image 63)
Dominique Bonnet, photographer, qualified in the knowledge of the Art of Creative Slideshow
This jury will rank the submitted works to determine the final selection.
The organizers will schedule, at a minimum, the screening of the top 60 ranked works during the Festival's screening sessions as will the works of authors physically present in Lempdes.
The 15 highest-ranked Creative Slideshows will be presented during the gala session.
3) Prizes and Rewards
1st Prize: "Le Site du DCcn" Grand Prize: 7-day accommodation (maximum 5 people) in a cottage in Cap Corse.
2nd Prize: "Club Objectif Images 63" Grand Prize: 250 euros.
3rd Prize: "Festival et Rencontres de Lempdes" Prize - 100 euros.
The jury reserves the right to award specific prizes (for image quality, soundtrack, creativity, etc.) and to attach, or not, a reward to them.
A Public Choice Award (worth 50 euros and cumulative) will be organized during the gala session.
Awards + Accepted entries: one quarter of the total number of works received.
4) Conditions of Participation
* The competition is open to everyone, except members of the Jury and their families.
* Registration is limited to two works per creator. The maximum duration of each work is 12 minutes.

However, the registration form can also be requested from dccn@sitedudccn.com and then sent to that same address.
It is then the responsibility of the creator to obtain confirmation that the registration has been properly received.
* The works must not appear on Le Site du DCcn before the date on which the registration form for this competition is submitted by the creator.
* The subjects addressed are unrestricted provided that they comply with French laws governing freedom of expression (subjects of a racist, anti-Semitic, pornographic nature, etc. will not be accepted).
* The work must be based on still images. The inclusion of video sequences is permitted, and the Jury will assess the appropriateness of such sequences, their duration, and any other criteria relating to these video sequences.
* External material (images, texts, use of AI, etc.) is permitted under the sole responsibility of the creator of the work and on the sole condition that such material is explicitly acknowledged in the credits of the work. The Jury will assess the appropriateness, relevance and necessity of such material in the development of the work.
* The productions must be in French, or subtitled in French. If a work is sung in a foreign language and this is essential to the production, it must be subtitled in French.
5) Online publication on Le Site du DCcn of Creative Slideshows submitted to this competition
Creators who register their productions for this competition agree to their possible publication on Le Site du DCcn after the competition, unless the creator formally objects by writing to: webmaster@sitedudccn.com
However, publication on Le Site du DCcn may only take place after the production has previously been presented before a jury in at least one event other than this competition.
Exception: For the first three prize winners and the Public Choice Award winner, the videos will be published on Le Site du DCcn as soon as the results are announced, on le 16 may 2027. From 30 may 2027, the award-winning creator may object to the continued presence of the work on Le Site du DCcn and request its removal by writing to webmaster@sitedudccn.com
6) Composition of submissions
Submissions must include the .mp4 or .mov video version of the work. No other format will be accepted for this competition.
This video version must be sent via a file-sharing platform to the following address: dccn@sitedudccn.com
Please avoid WeTransfer, whose storage period is too short, and prefer:

or SwissTranfer,
or Smash, or another service…
7) Entry fees
Entry fees are set at:
€20 for the first work entered and
€15 for the second.
A producer attending the event in Lempdes will receive a reimbursement of €5 per work entered.

8) Closing date
Registration becomes final when the following three items have been received:
The registration form / The entry fee payment / The Creative Slideshow video, and in all cases before 15 march 2027.
9) Processing of personal data (GDPR)
The organisers of this competition undertake, in accordance with current legislation, to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of participants' personal data. Authors have the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data by contacting: dccn@sitedudccn.com
10) Copyright
Participation in the Lempdes competition is subject to compliance with the provisions relating to intellectual property rights, image rights of individuals and the right to privacy.
Regitered works in this competition are deemed to be free from any artistic property rights or other rights that may be held by third parties. The producer, where applicable, holds the necessary rights and authorisations. Producers undertake to indemnify the organisers against any action that may be brought against them by any rights holders.
The organisers cannot under any circumstances be held liable in the event of any dispute or litigation.
