The image, the image, the image.
Discovering, as a teenager, at the same time, social engagement, photography, and cinema, life finds itself on a partially traced path.
Living through 1968, a surge of immense hope naturally leads to commitment. Running your first film club in high school, meeting filmmakers, watching movies over and over, talking about them for a long time over a drink or anywhere, and cinema, as a means of knowledge and escape, becomes your lifelong partner. Buying your first SLR camera with your first paycheck, developing and printing the photos in the neighborhood youth club, being guided by experienced photographers, and a passion is born.

The fixed or moving image (photography, video, cinema, slideshow…) has filled my life with discoveries, knowledge, surprises, wonders, and also with challenges in mastering the techniques (video or slideshow productions, photography exhibitions…).

Today, as the host of a film club and a member of a photo and video club, I try in my own way to do: share what I’ve learned, discover artists, analyze works, and explore new visual territories. Beyond the joy of creating still or moving images, I take just as much pleasure in sharing this passion with others.
