The Jury Laure Gigou
I was born where I would have liked to be born," so on the singular island of Paul Valéry, in Sète, a few years ago.
I discovered the diaporama around 1965-66 during Kodak tours, and since then I attended the annual sessions of the Group of Five at the Molière Hall in Montpellier.
Later, while taking an introductory workshop on slide shows, I had the happiness of meeting Jean Bourguedieu around 1983-84 and joining the only diaporama club he had founded in Crès, the Atelier Interclub Diaporama.
Once you try slide shows, it’s rare to stop... In 1986, I became president of the AID club.
With a gap from 2000 to 2003, I remained head of the association until the end of 2009, at which date I demanded to be replaced.

Within this framework, I organized introductions to analog and then digital techniques, with the distribution of tutorials on the Internet. Passionate about travel, since that date I have created about a hundred diaporamas, not all of them presented in competition, and not necessarily about my travels. Among the slideshows that were well received by the public are: 'I Had an Old Man in Verdun,' 'The Book of Time,' 'In Search of Lost Writings,' 'At the Roots of the Absolute'…
