That evening I discovered, at my own expense:
1) That crossfading, with at least 2 projectors, allows avoiding the black between 2 images.
2) That one can be short and... creative!
It takes me ten years to recover from it.
Ten years of attending French or foreign festivals as a mere spectator before daring to propose other edits, 'Ouagadougou-City' in 1991 then 'Terre rouge' in 1993 then...
Years1990:
The term 'diaporama' is already starting to be overused and takes on a negative connotation.
It then seems essential to me to specify the kind of slideshow I like to do: The Short Creative Diaporama.
And above all, to promote it.

See the tests I carried out for the research of LPCDCcn (Perfect Software for Creating Short Creative Digitized Slideshows) leading to the discovery of the PTE software.
In this year 2002, my 'analog DCCs' gradually become 'Digitized DCCs'.
These are, in France, the first Short Creative Digitized Diaporamas.
To make this possibility of digitization known thanks to the PTE software, I organize training courses in slideshow clubs and during festivals.
ADSL does not exist yet, and downloads are laborious.
I therefore offer on my personal website the sending by mail of a CD-Rom containing five of my digitized diaporamas, as examples of what the Digital Slideshow will soon become.
This CD-Rom is registered with SACEM. A new medium is recognized : Digital Diaporama

Until 2003 le Site du DCcn will be the only French site to promote the emerging digital slideshow.
